CLAWS takes in cats of all ages and increasingly we are being asked to re-home  14, 15, 16 and even 19 year olds.

These “golden oldies” are looking for a loving home where they can spend the rest of their lives in peace and quiet.

All our elderly cats are homed under the "People For Pets Scheme" This scheme means that an elderly person or someone on a restricted income can adopt an elderly cat and is asked to pay  for its food and annual booster injection and half of any veterinary fees incurred.  CLAWS will pay the other 50%.

This scheme works well for both the person and the cat because the cat gets a loving home and the person, possibly on their own, gets a new companion and a new focus in life.

Description: ELLA AND SAM BY GAELYN MARCH 2011.jpg

"Meet Sam and Ella, devoted brother and sister, aged 15 years.
Due to a change in domestic circumstances they had to leave the home where they had lived since they were kittens.
Fortunately C.L.A.W.S. found them a lovely new home where they are happy and content..
